It is used as a restorative dentistry material because the material has highly compatible properties that make it possible to fuse with bone. In addition,its mechanical material properties are extremely similar to bone material properties. What's more, it retains physiological elasticity and has a perfect combination of rigidity and excellent polishing properties. It is possible to meet more indications and more stringent requirements in oral use.
What is peek material
PEEK is a semicrystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained to high temperatures. PEEK is used to fabricate items used in demanding applications, including bearings, piston parts, pumps, HPLC columns, compressor plate valves, and cable insulation. It is one of the few plastics compatible with ultra-high vacuum applications.
